Kevin s. Groves, PhD

Kevin S. Groves, Ph.D., is the Founder and President of Groves Consulting Group, and an Associate Professor of Management at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. Dr. Groves primarily teaches courses on organization design, organization development and change, executive leadership, and talent management across the Graziadio School’s DBA and MBA programs. An active leadership scholar, speaker, and consultant, he is widely published in business management journals and a frequent speaker at academic conferences, professional associations, industry panels, and organizations across industries. His recently published book (Winning Strategies: Building a Sustainable Leadership Pipeline through Talent Management & Succession Planning) integrates the key findings from his research and industry projects on succession planning and talent management best practices.

Gary L. Mangiofico, PhD

Gary L. Mangiofico, Ph.D., is an Executive Professor in Organizational Theory and Management at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. He has led strategic development, operations management and integration, and turnaround operations solving complex challenges as a CEO, COO, and as a general management executive for both start-ups and Fortune 50 companies. He is a former vice president for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Services; COO and senior vice president for Pathmakers, an integrated behavioral health practice management group; senior vice president for Apria Healthcare Group; and chief executive officer for CPC Alhambra Hospital. Dr. Mangiofico joined Pepperdine University's Graziadio School in 2003 and has held several administrative and faculty leadership appointments over his tenure at the business school. Dr. Mangiofico has been delivering consulting services to corporations, private business, and non-profits since 1989, as well as conducted over 300 workshops and keynote presentations in leadership, healthcare, community health, and healthcare economics.

Stephen McGuire, PhD

Stephen McGuire, Ph.D., is a Professor of Management at California State University, Los Angeles, where he is a recent recipient of the Outstanding Professor Award. Dr. McGuire is also a former partner of the HayGroup, where he worked as a management consultant for major organizations in 23 countries. He previously taught at Georgetown University, Catholic University of Portugal, Moscow University Touro, American University in Bulgaria, and The George Washington University, where he was awarded the Bender Prize for Teaching Excellence. Dr. McGuire is author of Managing Organizational Change as well as several research articles, and Editor of the Journal of Case Research and Inquiry.
