Kevin Groves, Ph.D., is President and Founder of Groves Consulting Group, a management consultancy that helps organizations develop leadership talent through executive assessment, development, and succession planning capabilities. An Associate Professor of management at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, Dr. Groves primarily teaches organization design, leadership, and organization development courses in the Graziadio School’s MBA programs in Malibu and West Los Angeles. An active leadership scholar, speaker, and consultant, he is widely published in business management and healthcare journals. Gary Mangiofico, Ph.D. is an Executive Professor in the area of Organizational Theory and Management at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. He has led strategic development, operations management and integration, and turnaround operations solving complex challenges as a CEO, COO, and as a general management executive for both start-ups and Fortune 50 companies. He is a former vice president for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Services; COO and senior vice president for Pathmakers, an integrated behavioral health practice management group; senior vice president for Apria Healthcare Group; and chief executive officer for CPC Alhambra Hospital. Dr. Mangiofico joined Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School in 2003 and has held several administrative and faculty leadership appointments over his tenure at the business school. Dr. Mangiofico has been delivering consulting services to corporations, private business, and non-profits since 1989, as well as conducted over 300 workshops and keynote presentations in leadership, healthcare, community health, and healthcare economics. Stephen McGuire, Ph.D., is Professor of Management at California State University, Los Angeles, where he received the Outstanding Professor Award. He previously taught at Georgetown University, Catholic University of Portugal, Moscow University Touro, American University in Bulgaria, and The George Washington University, where he was awarded the Bender Prize for Teaching Excellence. Steve is a former partner of the HayGroup, where he worked as a management consultant for major organizations in 23 countries. Keith Mandel, M.D., is a national advisor and consultant in the areas of large-scale quality improvement and delivery system transformation, as well as related talent management strategies. His primary areas of focus as a practitioner-scholar include accelerating and sustaining achievement of population health outcome goals at the delivery system, regional, and national levels, while maximizing individuals’ career potential; and, advancing the integration of quality improvement, talent management, and organizational development/change science through research, teaching, publications, and national partnerships. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. To further enhance his practitioner-scholar focus on integrating quality improvement, talent management, and organizational development/change science, he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Positive Organization Development and Change at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
